I have incredibly limited knowledge on blue grass, but I knew of someone that was related to a friend of mine who's uncle sometimes listened to bluegrass, and he told me that it was incredibly underrated! I stumbled upon this lil' diddy over at hype machine, and well I immediately started searching of more stuff by this bluegrass cover band - Iron Horse. I'm a sucker for covers, if you can take an awesome song and remake it with a completely different sound, well that just is amazing... sometimes at least to me. Just to show you how great covers can be, Im going to throw in a cover of The Postal Service' "We Will Become Silhouettes" covered by the Shins!
Now I most likely won't start downloading lots of bluegrass bands (unless anyone has any great suggestions?), but wow as I listen to more of this Iron Horse, I'm really respecting this stuff! Check out more if you like this because I think these guys are great!
